With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood.
With Dang Gui, Chan Tui and Fang Feng, for skin disorders with itching due to Heat in the Blood.
With Xuan Shen, for Excess or Deficiency Heat patterns.
With Niu Xi, powerfully clears Deficiency Fire Blazing Upward.
Rx. Rehmanniae Shu Di Huang 12g Nourishes the Blood and nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin.
With Dang Gui, for Blood Deficiency.
Rx,. Achyranthis Bidentatae Niu Xi 6g Invigorates the Blood, expels Blood Stasis and nourishes the Liver and Kidney Yin.
With Sheng Di Huang, for powerfully clears Deficiency Fire Blazing Upward.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 10g Tonifies, invigorates, harmonizes the Blood, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood.
Rz. et Rx. Notopterygii Qiang Huo 10g Releases the exterior and disperses Cold.
With Fang Feng, for pain due to External Wind-Dampness.
Rz. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 10g Clears Heat, drains Fire, nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness and clears Deficiency Fire.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 10g Releases the exterior and expels External Wind.
With Qiang Huo, for Wind-Dampness.
Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 10g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
Flos Chrysanthemi Ju Hua 6g Disperses Wind, clears Heat, calms the Liver, clears the eyes and detoxifies.
With Fang Feng, for Wind-Heat irritating the exterior with slight chills, mild fever, headache and itchy eyes.
With Chan Tui, for superficial visual obstruction red, watery, swollen and painful eyes due to Liver Heat from either Wind-Heat or Liver Yang Rising.
Periostracum Cicadae Chan Tui 6g Disperses Wind, clears Heat, clears the eyes and removes superficial visual obstruction.
